Ariens has a long history of manufacturing rotary snow throwers and garden tractors. The legend began to be born back in 1933 with the first engineering inventions of its founder Henry Ariens in the town of Brillion, Wisconsin, USA. Henry, and then his sons and grandchildren, worked hard for 79 years to build their business, but they had to slow down during the Great Depression. But even the Great Depression could not break these four inventors. Henry and his sons - Steve, Leon and Francis were still full of ideas, which they gradually turned into reality.
Ariens began with the invention of the rotary cultivator, while other manufacturers experimented with imported cultivators. In 1960, Ariens introduced their most popular product, the Sno-Thro rotary snow blower. It took eight months from initial design to production. The product was an instant hit. In the 1970s, Ariens produced over 100 thousand. snowplows annually. And so in 2005. the company sold its 2 millionth snow blower. A decade later, Ariens has transformed from a market pioneer into a leader, mastering a new sector - gardening. The Ariens brand has managed to go from a small production in a garage to a large corporation with production in different countries of the world!
