History of CASE IH Tractors
Case history dates back to 1842. The Case organization at that time was engaged in the development and production of threshers. However, the industrial revolution was gaining momentum. Soon, the first steam engine for use in agriculture was released from the assembly shop of Keys. It wasn't long before Case International became the world's largest steam engine manufacturer.
For 70 years, the manufacturer has come a long and difficult way from simple threshers to steam rollers and graders. However, the business grew and the company developed. In 1957, management decided to expand the business. The American Tractor Corporation and a number of other smaller structures were acquired. Already in the mid-90s, Case entered the world level, becoming a leading manufacturer of light and medium-sized equipment.
But the most important event in the life of the company was the merger of Case and New Holland into CNH Global corporation - the future manufacturer of equipment for construction and agriculture of the world level.
