The machines of the Komatsu WB93 family are a 4 × 4 all-wheel drive backhoe loader designed for loading and unloading, earthmoving, transportation (over short distances) and other types of work, including in adverse conditions .They combine in itself high versatility, modern technical "stuffing", excellent technical and operational characteristics and good performance .By default, the Komatsu WB93R / WB93S has a modernly designed cab with all-round visibility and comfortable and ergonomically thought out interior decoration. The driver's workplace is equipped with a comfortable seat with armrests, a large number of adjustments and air suspension. The length of the backhoe loader in the transport position is 5895 mm, of which 2175-2215 mm falls on the gap between the wheelsets, its width, taking into account the bucket, reaches 2320-2420 mm, and the total height is 3710 mm. The size of the front and rear track of the car is 1934 mm and 1800 mm, respectively, and its ground clearance is 430-475 mm. The standard operating weight of the "Japanese" varies from 8070 to 8550 kg (depending on the modification), and the full weight - from 9000 to 9500 kg. This wheel loader backhoe boasts good front-end performance, with a maximum loading height of 3175-3215mm, a dump height of 2720-2840mm, and a cutting depth of 75-130mm. The shovel of the machine allows you to remove soil from a depth of 5020 mm (with telescopic extension - up to 6055 mm), and the range of its work fits into 5715 mm.
The Komatsu WB93 is equipped with an in-line four-cylinder Komatsu SAA4D104E-1 diesel engine with a displacement of 4.5 liters with a turbocharger, direct fuel injection and intercooled charge air, generating 99.2 horsepower (74 kW) at 2200 rpm and 420 Nm of torque at 1200 rpm / minute. By default, the "Japanese" is equipped with a synchronized manual transmission (it has four steps forward and reverse) and an all-wheel drive transmission with switching between two and four-wheel drive by means of an electro-hydraulic system. But only on the WB93R-5E0 - with a full rear axle differential lock, and on the WB93S-5E0 - with self-locking differentials on both axles. Both forward and backward, the car can reach speeds from 6 to 40 km / h, depending on the selected gear, and its fuel consumption is at least 15.7 liters for each hour of operation. At the heart of the Komatsu WB93 is a reinforced box-section frame made of high-strength steel grades with rigidly mounted front and rear axles. The backhoe loader is equipped with a hydrostatic feedback steering system and oil-immersed disc brakes with a diameter of 270-300 mm. A bucket with a lifting capacity of 3900 kg (at the maximum height) is installed in the front of the machine, the volume of which ranges from 1.03 to 1.1 cubic meters, and in the rear there is a backhoe with an S-shaped boom of increased strength. In the Russian market, Komatsu WB93 machines are offered in 2018 at a price of ~ 6 million rubles. By default, the backhoe loader is equipped with: machine condition monitoring technology, reverse sound signal, front and rear lights, tinted glass, a cab with a heater and a fan, rear-view mirrors, air suspension of the driver's seat, self-leveling system and other equipment.
